Environmental Cost: Ecobalyse Setup Guide

How BCome Helps You With Ecobalyse

At BCome, we make compliance fast, accurate, and automatic — so you don’t have to build everything from scratch.

What BCome Does For You

  • Converts your environmental data into Ecobalyse format
  • Connects directly to the official or testing Ecobalyse API
  • Activates your product references in the national portal
  • Generates ready-to-use SVG labels for your e-commerce pages

What You Need To Provide

  • GTINs (barcodes): For all affected references
  • List of references (SKUs): Share what’s affected

(No API key needed — BCome will provide you with its unique identifier to complete the delegation step below.)

Step 1 — Create your account on the Affichage Environnemental portal

Access the Affichage Environnemental portal and choose the option that applies to your company:

Option A: Your company has a SIRET number

  1. Click “S’identifier avec ProConnect” on the portal homepage.
  2. Enter your professional email address.
  3. Confirm your email with the validation code sent to your inbox.
  4. Create a secure password.
  5. Enter your organization’s SIRET number (find it on the Business Directory).
  6. Complete your personal information.

Your ProConnect account is now ready.

Option B: Your company does not have a SIRET number

If your company is registered outside France and does not have a SIRET number, you need to complete a registration form before accessing the portal.

Before you begin, prepare digital copies (PDF, JPG, or PNG) of:

  • Proof of legal existence: An official document showing your company name, legal form, address, directors, and share capital (e.g., Certificate of Incorporation, Business License, or Commercial Register Extract). Max file size: 200 MB.
  • Director’s ID: A valid identity document (ID card or passport) for the company director. Max file size: 20 MB.

Registration steps:

  1. On the portal homepage, locate the information box that says: “Vous n’avez pas de SIRET ? Nous vous invitons à remplir ce questionnaire pour valider votre inscription” and click “ce questionnaire”.
  2. You will be redirected to demarche.numerique.gouv.fr. Click “Créer un compte demarche.numerique.gouv.fr”.
  3. Enter your professional email address and create a secure password.
  4. Check your inbox for a confirmation email from demarche.numerique.gouv.fr and click the activation link.
  5. Once your account is confirmed, click “Commencer la démarche” (Start the process).
  6. Fill in the required fields: Company Name, Country of Registration, Type of Activity, and Company Website.
  7. Upload your Registration Document and Director’s ID.
  8. Click “Déposer le dossier” (Submit the file).

Your application will be reviewed by the administration. Once approved, you will receive access to the portal via email.

Step 2 — Delegate rights to BCome in the Ecobalyse portal

BCome will share its unique identifier with you. You will need to enter it in the portal to authorize BCome to submit declarations on your behalf.

  1. Connect to the Affichage Environnemental portal and log in using your account credentials.
  2. Go to the “Organisation” section in the top navigation menu.
  3. Scroll down to “Déléguer mes droits à une entreprise” (Delegate my rights to a company).
  4. Click “Via son identifiant unique” (Via unique identifier).
  5. Enter the unique identifier provided by BCome.
  6. Confirm the delegation. BCome will appear as Délégation active under your organization.

Step 3 — Confirm the environment with the BCome team

Once the delegation is active, let the BCome team know which environment you want to use for uploading your data. The BCome team will handle the rest of the configuration on the platform side.

Option A: Official Production Environment (Live)

Use this option to go live and activate your product references on the national portal. BCome will use its unique identifier to submit declarations on your behalf.

Option B: Testing Environment (Sandbox)

Use this option to review generated labels before going live. No delegation is needed on your end — BCome uses its own test API key to upload data on your behalf.

Note: In the testing environment, declarations will not be visible on the Ecobalyse portal. You will be able to review the generated labels directly within the BCome platform.

Once the configuration is complete, you can verify the connection status in BCome at: Compliance → Environmental Cost → Data Connection.

You’re all set to use the Ecobalyse API features within BCome.
